Application Instructions
Applying these wraps is a "one-and-done" process. Because the adhesive is permanent and extremely strong, positioning is key.
1. Surface Prep
• For Tumblers: Clean the surface thoroughly with 91% Isopropyl alcohol to remove oils and fingerprints. Let it dry completely.
• For A5 Journals: Ensure the cover is free of dust. If it’s a fabric cover, lint-roll it first. (Note: Works best on hardcovers, vegan leather, or smooth laminates).
2. Align & Position
• Do not peel the backing yet. Wrap the design around your item to check your alignment and see where the seam will meet.
• Pro Tip: Use a small piece of painter's tape to mark your starting vertical line.
3. The Reveal
• Peel the clear transfer sheet away from the white backing paper. The design should stick to the clear film.
• Careful: Once the adhesive touches the surface, it cannot be repositioned.
4. Apply & Press
• Starting from one side, lay the wrap down onto the surface.
• Use a squeegee or a credit card to press firmly from the center outward to push out any air bubbles.
• Continue rotating the tumbler (or smoothing across the journal), applying firm pressure as you go.
5. Peel the Carrier Sheet
• Rub the entire design one last time with your fingers to ensure a solid bond.
• Slowly peel back the clear film at a flat angle. If any part of the design lifts, lay the film back down and rub more vigorously.
⚠️ Care Instructions:
While UV DTF is incredibly hardy, we recommend hand-washing only for tumblers to preserve the longevity of the adhesive against high dishwasher temperatures. Do not microwave.
